just read on action-figure.com that there will be more of a difference between the 2 18" Jack Sparrow figures other than their head sculpts. the figures will feature different lines from the movie to match the emotion with the headsculpt. it's kind of cool, but at the same time, the crappier head sculpt will have the better/funnier lines. oh well...not that big of a deal. would have been nice to have a mix of both types of lines for both figures. you know, since the serious sculpt is amazing and everyone will want it and the smiling one sucks...

I may get a couple of the smaller scale figures. I thought the movie was kind of stupid, Depp and Rush were great, though.
I like the character(more so Depp) but after seeing The Crow 2 pack, I have very little confidence in their smaller scale figures. I'll get the serious one for me and I'll buy the smiley one for the girlfriend. I win both ways!

I'm not a big fan of the talking figures...bit too cheesy for my tastes. Sparrow is an excellent character and Depp (as usual) played him perfect. If the smaller figure line isn't ass, I'll pick him up for sure.

I don't mind variants but when it comes to 18 inchers, it gets too fucking expensive. That's why I'll be passing on both.
Ill get the one that looks better in person and leave it at that. I dont keep the sound on anyway.
i think they're fairly hit or miss. the ghostbusters stuff looks pretty great across the boards, hellraiser can go either way. i unfortunately never picked up the Freddy VS. Jason set while i had a chance, but it looked pretty excellent as well. we'll see, i suppose...
